This Saturday will be the Foundation’s annual charity game at Welford road and we are delighted that we're able to support Michael Fatialofa. It’s never nice to hear of another serious rugby injury but it’s always incredible to see the rugby family rally around one of its own.

Michael was seriously injured in Worcester Warriors fixture against Saracens on January 4th. Following three weeks in an intensive care unit he was transferred to a specialist spinal unit at the Royal Buckinghamshire Hospital in Aylesbury where he is responding well to treatment and is making encouraging progress.

The Foundation has been in regular contact with Worcester Warriors and pledged its support to Michael as and when required. By moving our charity day to to this fixture it gives the Tigers faithful the opportunity to show their support to Michael and all monies raised will go to help support him and his family moving forward.

Matt is planning on visiting Michael soon to let him know that he will he welcome at the Get Busy Living Centre as soon as he’s able to travel. The support he will be able to recieve here from others in a similar position is so important in giving individuals the tools to get busy living again after a life altering injury.

Saturday is also important for the club with it first Celebrate inclusion day. We are so proud to be involved in this initiative and it’s great to see the club promoting the awareness of fans with hidden and physical disabilities.
